Procore iOS App: No Longer Providing Updates for iOS 11

This announcement represents a single point in time. Future releases may impact the information below.
Announced: September 23, 2019  /  Updated: November 12, 2019

Procore iOS App Requires iOS 12 or 13

Due to Apple's release of iOS 13 on September 19, 2019, the Procore iOS app will no longer provide updates for devices using iOS 11. While the Procore iOS app can still be used if you have a device using iOS 11 or older, you will not be able to update the Procore app past the version that iOS 11 supports.

Procore continuously releases updates the Procore iOS app with new features and enhancements, so it is always recommended to use the latest version whenever possible. In addition, the Procore app on iOS 13 offers the highest level of stability, security, and performance. Devices using iOS 12 will be able to update to newer Procore iOS app versions, but given the new foundational technologies in iOS 13, Procore may stop supporting iOS 12 in the future. Note: Procore will provide ample notification to all users of any such change.

The following devices are NOT able to install the iOS 13 software:

  • iPhone 5s
  • iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
  • iPad mini 2
  • iPad mini 3
  • Original iPad Air

If you are using a device that is not supported by iOS 13, we (at a minimum) recommend updating your device to iOS 12.4 so you can continue to receive the latest Procore app updates. However, the newest operating system is still preferred so that you can benefit from new features and enhancements, as well as the improved security that is provided by iOS 13.

The following devices ARE compatible with iOS 13:

iPhones

  • iPhone XS
  • iPhone XS Max
  • iPhone XR
  • iPhone X
  • iPhone 8
  • iPhone 8 Plus
  • iPhone 7
  • iPhone 7 Plus
  • iPhone 6s
  • iPhone 6s Plus
  • iPhone SE
  • ...and newer devices

iPads

  • 12.9-inch iPad Pro
  • 11-inch iPad Pro
  • 10.5-inch iPad Pro
  • 9.7-inch iPad Pro
  • iPad (6th gen)
  • iPad (5th gen)
  • iPad mini (5th gen)
  • iPad mini 4
  • iPad Air (3rd gen)
  • iPad Air 2
  • ...and newer devices
What happens if my device is still using iOS 11?

If your device cannot update to iOS 12 or 13, you will still be able to use the version of Procore you currently have installed on your device. However, iOS 11 is considered unsupported. This means you will no longer receive app updates or bug fixes, and we cannot guarantee how long the installed version will continue to work without issues.
