What is the Public Tendering feature in Procore?

 In Beta
At this time, this feature is in beta and only accessible to users in the United States.

Answer

The Public Tendering feature lets general contractors and owners publish public projects for tendering on the Procore Construction Network. Vendors can search for these projects, filter by trade or location, and request to tender all within Procore.

Who can use the Public Tendering feature?

What are the benefits of using Procore's Public Tendering compared to other tendering platforms?

Unlike standalone tendering networks or government-specific sites, Procore offers a unified experience:

  • Compliance: Easily meet regulatory requirements for public project posting.

  • Visibility: Reach a nationwide network of qualified vendors to ensure competitive tendering.

  • Efficiency: Eliminate fragmented workflows by managing everything from project discovery to tender submission in one place.

Will my Tender Package stay on Procore Construction Network?

Yes, Tender Packages will remain public on the Procore Construction Network but will transition to a Tendering Closed status, disabling the option to contact the solicitor or download documents from the project details page. The Tendering Closed status is triggered when a package is manually set to 'Closed', or when the due date passes without the solicitor enabling late tender submissions.

How can I completely remove a tender package from Procore Construction Network?

If you do not want any record of a past tender package to remain visible on Procore Construction Network, you have two options to remove it:

  • Turn off Public Discovery: You can disable the Enable Public Discovery feature. This hides the tender package from public view while maintaining the data within your Procore account.

  • Delete the Tender Package: You can choose to delete the tender package entirely. This action is permanent and removes the package from both the Procore Construction Network and Procore altogether.

Is the Public Tendering feature available everywhere?

Currently, this feature is available for projects in the United States only.
