Create a Quick Deficiency Category on a Project

Objective

To create a quick deficiency category on your project. 

Things to Consider

• Required User Permission: 'Admin' on the project's Deficiency List tool.
• Categories are used for organizational purposes when managing and creating Deficiency List Templates. Categories will not affect how your Deficiency List tool is organized.
• Any templates or categories created at the project level will not have a key icon next to them.

Steps

1. Navigate to the project's Deficiency List tool.
2. Click Configure Settings .
3. Click Deficiency List Templates in the right pane. 
   This reveals a list of deficiency list templates, organized by category. 
4. Click +Create Category.
   This opens the Create New Deficiency Item Template Category window.
5. Enter a new category Name.
6. Click Create to add the new category.
