What is the Resource Planning/LaborChart App?

Background

Resource Planning is Procore's construction resource management hub. It offers centralized scheduling and communication as well as real-time insight into availability and skill set. Before becoming Procore's Resource Planning tool, it was a standalone application called LaborChart.

While the web experience is embedded in Procore, the mobile experience is accessible through the legacy LaborChart app. You can download the app in your mobile device's app store. For iOS the app is called 'LaborChart'. For Android, the app is called 'Resource Planning'.

The LaborChart/Resource Planning app lets you access the Resource Planning tool in a mobile app. Typically, the following roles use the LaborChart/Resource Planning mobile app for these actions:

Field Leads

  • View and manage your notifications
  • View your team
  • View your projects
  • Manage resource assignments
  • View and manage your resource requests
  • Manage your communications and respond to alerts
  • View your schedule

Field Crew

  • Manage your communications and respond to alerts
  • View your schedule
