Add a Company to the Project Level Directory (Android)

Objective

To add a company to the Project Level Directory using the Procore app on an Android mobile device.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions
  • This action can be performed in offline mode. Tasks performed in offline mode sync with Procore once a network connection is reestablished. 

  • When you create a new company in a Project Directory, the company is also automatically added to the Company Directory.
  • You can configure what items are created with the quick create icon-plus-quick-create-mobile2.png icon, see Configure Quick Create Settings

Steps

  1. Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device and select a project.
    Note: This loads the Tools screen for the project.
  2. Tap the quick create icon-plus-quick-create-mobile2.png icon and select Company.
    OR
    Tap the Directory tool and tap the create icon-plus-quick-create-mobile2.png icon. Then select Add Company.
  3. Continue creating the company in one of the following ways:

Import a Company from Your Mobile Device

  1. Tap +Import from Contacts.
  2. Tap the desired existing company.
    Note: This is a contact stored locally to your device outside of Procore.
  3. Tap into a field to add or edit the relevant information.
    Note: 'Company Name' is a required field. 
  4. Tap Save to add the company to the project directory 

Manually Add a New Company 

  1. Tap into a field to add the relevant information:
    Note: 'Company Name' is a required field. 
  2. Tap Save to save the company to the project's directory.
