Create a Folder (iOS)

Tip

A new two and three-column layout is now available for iPads, making it easier to navigate different tools. Tap the menu icon ipad menu icon to show and hide the tools menu.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Documents tool.

  • This action can be performed offline. Tasks performed offline sync with Procore once a network connection is reestablished.

Steps

  1. Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device and select a project.
    Note: This loads the Tools screen for the project.

  2. Tap the Documents tool.

  3. Tap the create icon-plus-quick-create-mobile2.png icon. Then select Create Folder.

  4. Enter a title for the new folder.

  5. Optional: To mark the folder as 'Private', tap the toggle to the ON position.
    Note: Folders marked as 'Private' are only accessible to the folder's creator and 'Admin' level users on the Documents tool.

  6. Tap Create.
