Portfolio Financials and Capital Planning: New Unit of Measurement Option

This feature is available for accounts with Procore's Capital Planning or Portfolio Financials products. Please reach out to your Procore point of contact for more information. 

Ability to Select Square Meters or Feet for the Unit of Measurement

A setting has been added to Procore's Capital Planning and Portfolio Financials products that allows users to switch between square meters and square feet. Previously, only square feet was an option, which meant that users would often need to manually convert square feet to square meters. The unit of measurement selected automatically be converted, and will be reflected in the following areas:

  • The project size on the project page

  • Reporting

  • The Budget tab

  • The Edit/Add Project modal

Note: Currently, only square footage is available for Bidding.

Steps

  1. After logging in, click the hamburger menu.

  2. Click Account Settings.
  3. Click the Unit of Measurement drop-down menu.unit-of-measurement.png
  4. Select Square Feet or Square Meters.
  5. Click Save
  6. Enter your password to confirm the changes to your account settings.
    Note: The relevant data will automatically be converted to the selected unit of measure.
