Set Up and Manage Your Favourites

Objective

To learn how to set up, organize, and manage your list of favorite tools in Procore.

Background

The Procore navigation bar includes a Favourites list that is similar to the Bookmarks feature in a web browser. It stores a link to your favourite Procore tool's landing page(s). You can add up to ten (10) tools to your Favourites list

The Favourites you define are specific to your Procore user account (i.e., a Procore Administrator cannot create a Favourites list for other Procore users). In addition:

  • If your user account has been granted access to multiple Procore projects in a single company's account, you can create one (1) Favourites list for your Company tools and one (1) Favourites list for your Project tools.
  • If you have access to more than one company account in Procore, you can define one (1) Company Favourites list and one (1) Project Favourites list for each company account. 

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    The minimum permissions for viewing the Favorites list in the Procore navigation bar is:
    • To add tools to your company or project Favorites list, you must also have 'Read-Only' level permission or higher to the tool that you want to add.
      Note: Permissions to project tools are typically managed by your Procore Administrator using permissions templates. See Manage Project Permissions Templates.
    • For the project level list, 'Read Only' level permissions on the project's Home page. 
      AND
    • For the company level list, 'Read Only' level permissions on the company's Portfolio tool.
  • Additional Information:
    • Your can add up to ten (10) tools to your Company level and Project level Favourites lists. 

Tasks

If you’re a frequent Procore user, there are probably a number of Procore that you access regularly. If you want to be able to access those tools quickly, you can add them to your Company or Project level Favourites list:
