Who can be designated as an 'Assignee' on an RFI?

Answer

For a user to be designated as an 'Assignee' on an RFI, the following must be true:

  • The user be added the Project level Directory tool.
  • The user must be granted 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's RFIs tool.

To designate a user as an 'Assignee' on an RFI while creating or editing the RFI, you must have 'Admin' level permissions on the RFIs tool. When a 'Draft' RFI is placed into the 'Open' status, the system will automatically shift the Ball In Court responsibility to the RFIs 'Assignees'. An RFI's 'Assignee' can add other 'Assignees' to the RFI when they have the current Ball In Court responsibility.
