Reactivate a User in the Company Directory
Objective
To reactivate a user that was previously inactivated in a Procore account so that they can once again log in to a Procore account and access company-specific information.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permission:
- To perform the steps below, 'Admin' level permissions on the Company Directory.
OR - If you have 'Admin' level permissions on the Project level Directory tool, you can achieve the same result by following these steps: Reactivate a User in the Project Directory
- To perform the steps below, 'Admin' level permissions on the Company Directory.
- Prerequisite:
- The desired user record must on the 'Inactive Users' list. See Deactivate a User in the Company Directory.
- Additional Information:
- If the company that the user is affiliated with is also deactivated, you must first reactivate the company. See Reactivate a Company in the Company Directory.
Steps
- Navigate to the Company level Directory tool.
- Click Inactive Users.
- Locate the user you want to reactivate and click Reactivate at the end of their row.
The reactivated user can be found in the Company level Directory and any Project level Directory that they were added to before being inactivated. The user's previous permissions are also restored.
