Create Items from Photos (iOS)

Objective

To create items in other project tools from the Photos tool on an iOS mobile device.

Required User Permissions:
- 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Photos AND the tool where you are creating the item.

You can create an item from:

From the Tools page (home page of the project), tap the Create icon.
Tap to Take Photo.
Tap the photo thumbnail to open the recent photos tray.
Tap Select.
Select the photos you are creating an item from.
Tap the Create Item icon.
Select the item you want to create.
Note: 'Standard' level permission is required on the tool where you are creating an item.
- Daily Log Entry
- Observations
- Deficiency List
- RFI
Fill out the necessary fields for the item you are creating.

For Daily Log, Observations, and Deficiency List items, tap Save to finish creating the item. For RFIs, tap Create.

Navigate to the project's Photos tool in the Procore app using an iOS mobile device.
Open the photo you are creating an item from.
Note: In the Album view, you can select multiple photos by tapping the album that contains the photos, then tapping Select OR you can select a single photo from the Feed and Timeline views.
Tap Create Item.
Select the item you want to create.
Note: 'Standard' level permission is required on the tool where you are creating an item.

- Observations
- Deficiency List
- RFI
Fill out the necessary fields for the item you are creating.
