View and Configure the Project Workforce Graph
Objective
To view workforce assignments and workforce requests over the course of a project using the project's workforce graph.
Background
The workforce graph in workforce planning provides a visual way to view assignments and requests over the duration of a project.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool and 'Admin' level permissions within the Workforce Planning tool. See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.
OR
'Read Only' permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool with the 'View Projects' granular permission within the Workforce Planning tool. See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.

Prerequisites
Steps
- Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
- Click Project and select Projects List.
- Locate the project to view activity. Then click the project's name.
- Locate the 'Workforce Graph'
- Select to see Assignments, Requests, or Both.
Note: When viewing 'Both' assignments are a solid color and requests are hashed. - Using the dropdown list, configure the Y-Axis with one of the following options:
- Cost. The total cost of the assignments, requests, or both.
- Hours. The total hours of assignments, requests, or both.
- Man-Days. The total man days according to the number of shift hours in the Cost settings. See Configure Costing in Workforce Planning.
- People. The total number of unique people on the project.
- Optional: Mark the 'Breakdown Job Titles' checkbox to display job titles in the graph. Then select which job titles to display.
- Select to display data by Weeks or Months.
- Select to display data as Compressed or Expanded.
Note: The expanded view shows the precise value of each data point.
