Print Drawings

Also available on  ios-gray-icon.jpg  android-gray-icon.jpg

To print drawings with or without markups using Procore's Drawing tool.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Read Only' or higher permissions on the Drawings tool.
  • Additional Information:
    • When downloading and printing drawings with markups:
    • When you download PDFs of the drawings, you can then open the drawings in your PDF viewer and print them using the PDF viewer's print functionality. This is the recommended method because you can download and print multiple drawings at once. However, if you do not want to download the drawings to your local computer, you can print drawings individually through your browser. Since Procore is a web-based application that you access from your internet browser, all of the print capabilities come from the browser. In order to print right from the browser without downloading, click Info next to the drawing you want to print, and then click File > Print in your browser's menu.
Tip! You will see several pages ready for printing, but only one of these will contain your drawing. Find that drawing's page number, and only print that one!

Download Drawings

  1. Navigate to the project's Drawings tool.
  2. Mark the checkbox next to each drawing that you want to download.
To select all drawings in the set to download, mark the checkbox at the top of the table.
Note: This checkbox is only available on the List view, not the Thumbnails view.
  3. Click Download Drawings.
  4. In the Download Drawings window, select your preferences for the download:
    • File Preference:
      • Select Separate PDF files or All together in one PDF file to determine whether the drawings will be downloaded as separate PDF files, or combined as one.
Note: You will have the option to download as a single PDF without markup or as a single PDF with markup only if you have more than one drawing selected.
    • Markup:
      • Select Without Markup or With Markup to specify whether you want published markups on the drawings to appear.
Note: If you chose 'With Markup', the 'Select markup to include in the download' section appears.
        • Mark the checkboxes next to the markup types that you want to appear on the downloaded drawings.
        • When the Correspondence checkbox is marked, you can mark (or clear) additional checkboxes for specific correspondence types in the 'Select Correspondence types to include' section.

  5. Click Download.
Note: Depending on your selection, your download will either begin downloading to your computer or will be emailed to you.
    • If you downloaded a drawing without sketches and markup, the drawing will download as a single PDF.
    • If you downloaded a drawing with markup, an email with a link to the PDF file will be sent.
    • If the drawing has sketches added, the drawings will download in a .zip file.
