Install an App from the Procore Marketplace

Objective

To install an App in a company from the Procore Marketplace.

Background

As a company administrator, you have the ability to install an App from the Procore Marketplace in a company in Procore. You can install an App while you are in Procore or install one directly from the Marketplace.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions
    • 'Admin' level permissions on the company's Directory tool.

Steps

Installing an App from Procore

  1. Navigate to the company's Admin tool.
  2. Under "Administrative Settings", click App Management.
  3. Click Install App and choose Install App from Marketplace
    Your browser is redirected to the Procore Marketplace.

  4. Navigate to and click the tile for the App you want to install.
  5. Click Install App.
  6. Click Install to confirm your selection.
  7. If you want to create an App configuration now for this App, continue with the steps outlined below. Otherwise, click Skip.
    1. Use the Projects dropdown to select one or more projects you want to apply the App configuration to. Select Global Projects Config if you want to apply the configuration globally with the same configuration settings across all projects in your company. This will apply to all active and future projects.
    2. To make this App configuration accessible by users at the company level, select Company Level Config.
    3. Enter a Title for the new App configuration. This is the display name users will see when they launch the App from the 'Select an App' menu.
    4. Enter values for any required or optional 'Configurable Fields'.
    5. Click Create.
 Note
If the Company Level Config option is not available on the Create Configuration screen, the App you are trying to configure does not yet support company level configurations.

Installing an App Directly from the Procore Marketplace

  1. Navigate to the Procore Marketplace.
  2. Click Log In. Enter your Procore credentials and click Log In again.
    If you are a Company Admin in more than one company, you will be prompted to select the company you want to install the App in.
  3. Navigate to and click the tile for the App you want to install.
  4. Click Install App.
  5. Click Install to confirm your selection.
  6. If you want to create an App configuration now for this App, continue with the steps outlined below. Otherwise, click Skip.
    1. Use the Projects dropdown to select one or more projects you want to apply the App configuration to. Select Global Projects Config if you want to apply the configuration globally with the same configuration settings across all projects in your company. This will apply to all active and future projects.
    2. To make this App configuration accessible by users at the company level, select Company Level Config.
    3. Enter a Title for the new App configuration. This is the display name users will see when they launch the App from the 'Select an App' menu.
    4. Enter values for any required or optional 'Configurable Fields'.
    5. Click Create.

If the Company Level Config option is not available on the Create Configuration screen, the App you are trying to configure does not yet support company level configurations.
