Assign a RFQ
Objective
To assign a RFQ after you have already created the RFQ.
Background
You can create a RFQ without any RFQ recipients. This will create the RFQ without distributing it to anyone and allow you to use the RFQ as a placeholder to send to assignees at a later date.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Admin' permission on the project's Change Events tool
AND - 'Admin' permissions on the project's Commitments tool.
- 'Admin' permission on the project's Change Events tool

- Additional Information:
- If RFQs are disabled on your project, contact your Procore point of contact to request to enable them.
Steps
- Navigate to the project's Change Events tool.
- Locate the desired change event and click the link in the Status column.
- In the banner at the top of the page, click the Add an Assignee link.
- On the Request for Quote page, designate a person in Assignee drop-down list.
Note: If the user you are looking for does NOT appear in this list, see Why am I unable to assign users to a RFQ? - Click Save & Send RFQ. The RFQ will be sent to those listed in the Assignees drop-down list.
