Edit a Transmittal
Objective
To edit a transmittal in the project's Transmittals tool.
Background
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- To edit any transmittal, 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Transmittals tool.
OR - To edit a transmittal that you created, 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Transmittals tool.
- To edit any transmittal, 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Transmittals tool.
- Additional Information:
- The 'Related Items', 'Emails', and 'Change History' tabs become visible and available after a transmittal is created.

Steps
Edit General Information
- Navigate to the project's Transmittals tool.
- Locate the desired transmittal in the list. Then choose one of these options:
- Click Edit. This opens the transmittal in edit mode.
OR - Click View. This opens the transmittal in view mode. Then click Edit.
- Click Edit. This opens the transmittal in edit mode.
- In the 'General Information' area, you can edit the following fields:
- Choose from the following options:
- Click Save to save the transmittal without emailing it to the recipients in the 'To' and 'Cc' fields.
OR - Click Save and Email to save the transmittal and email it to the recipients designated in the 'To' and 'Cc' fields.
The Transmittal successfully updated banner appears.
- Click Save to save the transmittal without emailing it to the recipients in the 'To' and 'Cc' fields.
