- There are additional configuration steps for the budget and forecast views in the Company Admin tool. See Set Up a New Budget View and Set Up a New Forecasting View.
Prerequisites

Steps
Set the Budget Settings
- Navigate to the project's Budget tool.
- Click Configure Settings
.
- Click Budget Settings.
- Optional: Enable the following options as wanted:
- Allow Budget Modifications Which Modify Grand Total. Place a checkmark in this box to perform addition/subtraction to increase/decrease totals when creating budget modifications. See Create a Budget Modification.
- Autocalculate Forecast to Complete by Default. Place a checkmark in this box to automatically calculate the forecast to complete. Important! This setting only applies to new items. It does NOT retroactively calculate forecast to complete on existing budget items. See Use the 'Forecast to Complete' Feature.
- Enable Advanced Forecasting. This feature is enabled by default. Remove the checkmark to disable the advanced forecasting feature. Place a checkmark in this box to enable the advanced forecasting feature. When enabled, this action adds the following items to Procore:
- A new 'Forecasting' tab to the project's Budget tool.
- A new 'Procore Standard Forecast View' in the Company level Admin tool. See About the Procore Standard Forecasting View.
- The ability to create customized forecasting views in the Company level Admin tool and assign those views to projects. See Set Up a New Forecasting View.
- Click Update.
Set User Permissions for the Budget Tool

- Navigate to the project's Budget tool.
- Click Configure Settings
.
- Click Permissions Table.
- Under User Permissions for Budget, set the user's access permission level by clicking the icon in the column so a GREEN checkmark appears.
