Create Timecard Entries
Objective
To create Timecard entries in the project's Daily Log tool.
Background
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Standard' or 'Admin' on the project's Daily Log tool.
AND - You must be marked as an employee of your company. See How do I add someone as an employee of my company?
Note: 'Standard' users can only create Timecard entries for themselves.
- 'Standard' or 'Admin' on the project's Daily Log tool.
- Additional Information:
- If your account uses the Timesheets tool, entries should NOT be created in the Daily Log tool's Timecards section. Data from the project's Timesheets tool automatically populates in the Timecards section of the project's Daily Log.
- If your project is also using Procore's Project Financials tools, you can set up a budget views that uses data entered in a timecard to update your project's budget. To learn more, see Add a Budget View for Real-Time Labour Costing.
- Limitations:
- For Procore customers using Project Financials tools, keep in mind that timecard entries do NOT interact with the 'Procore Labour Productivity Cost' budget view. For more information, see Set Up the Procore Labour Productivity Cost Budget View.
Steps
- Navigate to the project's Daily Log tool.
- Scroll to the Timecards section.
- Enter the following information:
- Click Create.
