Set the Default Company Tendering Configuration


To set the configuration for your project's Tendering tool at the Company level. 


If you set the configuration for the Tendering tool at the Company level, the configuration settings that you define will be used on all new projects. If you want to edit the configuration for a specific project, see Edit Project Tendering Configuration.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Admin' level permissions to the Company level Admin tool. 
  • Prerequisites:
    • The Tendering tool must be an active tab at least one (1) project in your company account. 


  1. Navigate to the Company level Admin tool.
  2. Under 'Tool Settings', click Tendering.
  3. Complete the following information:
    • Project Information. Enter the text that you want to appear in the tendering invitation emails sent from your company account.
      The following text appears by default:
      [Your Company Name] would like to invite you to participate in the tendering process for this construction project by utilizing our Construction Project Management Software, “Procore.” Procore helps to streamline the tendering process by allowing tender invitee’s to download relevant tendering documents and submit their tender electronically. In this system, all electronic correspondence is tracked and archived and tenderers are provided with the most up to date information available for the project. We feel that this tool will simplify the tendering process for your project team by cutting down on the amount of filing and paperwork that typically accompanies tender management.
    • Tendering Instructions. Enter the text that you want to appear as the tendering instructions.
      The following text appears by default:
      If you need assistance accessing the tendering documents, please email Procore's customer support department at, and one of their support representatives will provide you with assistance. [Your Company Name] looks forward to the opportunity to work with your project team in our new tendering process.
    • Tender Submission Confirmation Text. Enter the text that you want a tenderer to see after they submit their tender.
      This field is blank by default. 
    • Send Tender Documents From. Select Company or Project Office
    • Update Configuration for All Projects. Place a checkmark in this box to update your new tendering configuration settings to all of the projects in your company account. 
  4. Click Save Default Tender Package Settings.
    Note: These settings will apply the new text to all future bid emails sent. See Create a Tender Package for an example of how the text in the tender invitation email will appear in your tender invitation email.
